LeLF is a registered charity which is affiliated to the National e-Learning Foundation

Our mission is to work with them in helping schools to go digital and exploit the potential of technology.

This means addressing the problems that some families have with using the Internet. Problems that the 2009 report on Digital Britain summarised as affordability, availability, capability and relevance.

About Us

Tackling affordability and availability means helping schools to find sustainable ways of assisting parents to get access in the shape of a computer device (e.g. netbook) and, if necessary, an internet service. We can help access grants and advise on eliciting contributions from parents.

Tackling capability and relevance means helping schools to provide training for parents and ensure they are using putting salient content online to drive interest.

All manner of transactions - banking, shopping, communicating, learning - are done well online and schools are only just beginning to leverage the power of the internet.
